Photo Artistry...pushing photography further
Black and white, or monochrome, the basis of the earliest form of photography still has an important place to play in the world of Photo Artistry.
The world of photography is continually changing, sometimes for the better, sometimes less so. The advent of digital cameras has allowed different genres to evolve and new techniques develop.
My involvement with the digital technology has been significantly influenced by the development of Photo Artistry under the guise of "Living the Photo Artistic life...pushing photography further". The principle of this genre is to create art using the photograph as the foundation. This does not mean I am simply using the pre-programmed filters in design software, rather a series of steps that takes the original photograph into a piece of genuine art in its own right.
The central theme of each piece of my Photo Art is based on my original photography with artistic interpretation suitable to the subject matter.
